The chefs, volunteers and guests who make up our Signature Chefs Events community are coming together in new, innovative ways to suport moms and babies this year.

We are following state mandated guidelines in response to COVID-19 and will not have an in-person event this year. So, we are preparing an exciting, new Virtual Gala for your 2020 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction experience!

We need your help now more than ever. Your support funds:

  • COVID-19 interventions and support for moms and babies
  • Programs that promote health equity for moms and babies and directly combat racial disparities in maternal and child health
  • Free virtual NICU support program for families
  • Virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
  • Educational programs, including live Facebook panel discussions, to get info into the hands of moms and families
  • Necessary supplies for expectant mothers including blood pressure cuffs and masks and so much more!

THE NURSE OF THE YEAR AWARDS

Now more than ever, it is important to honor excellence in nursing and pay tribute to the tireless efforts of nurses across the state! In recognition of the heroic efforts of healthcare personnel throughout Arizona during the pandemic, we extended the deadline for nominations and applications through June 30, 2020.  We wanted to make sure that colleagues, supervisors and families had the opportunity to nominate extraordinary nurses in our community.  

We may not be able to come together in person this year, but we can make a real difference for moms and babies, at a time when they need us most. In order to follow CDC guidelines to avoid mass gatherings, we are rapidly preparing for an exciting, virtualized Nurse of the Year Awards experience.

All official nominees will be recognized for their accomplishments during our Virtual Nominee Night on Thursday, August 27, 2020.  They will celebrate safely with Papa John's Pizza, delivered to their home or to their place of work.  Finalists will be announced during this time as well, and will receive beautiful floral arrangements provided by Table Tops, Etc. Our Virtual Awards Program, Thursday, September 17, 2020, will also be shown online, so that March of Dimes can honor the profession and recognize the most outstanding nurses in 12 diverse categories, who will each be enrolled in a one-year CE subscription through Nurse.com.  We will also announce our Distinguished Nurse of the Year, and our sponsors will enjoy a catered lunch at their facility from either Fabulous Food Fine Catering & Events or Creations in Cuisine.

We are grateful to our nominees, finalists, and winners, for helping to raise money for our mission--to lead the fight for the health of all moms and babies!  With a goal of $15,000, your support of March of Dimes helps fund:
